About Ehsas Kafaalat

Ehsas Kafaalat was built on a simple belief: a student’s access to life-changing educational opportunities should not depend on which country they were born in, how wealthy their family is, or whether they happened to know the right person at the right time.

Every year, hundreds of fully funded scholarships, prestigious fellowships, career-defining internships, and international exchange programs go unfilled — not because qualified students do not exist, but because those students never found the opportunity, never understood the eligibility requirements, or found the application process too overwhelming to navigate alone.

We built this platform to fix that.

What We Do

Ehsas Kafaalat is a curated educational opportunities platform serving students from Pakistan, South Asia, Africa, and around the world. We research, verify, and publish opportunities across six categories:

  • Application Guides — step-by-step guides for SOPs, motivation letters, academic CVs, professor emails, and visa applications
  • Scholarships — fully funded and partial programs at universities across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia
  • Internships — paid programs at the UN, UNICEF, NASA, Thomson Reuters, Netflix, Amazon, WHO and beyond
  • Fellowships — research, postdoctoral, and leadership programs at Harvard, UK Government, the EU, and independent foundations
  • Exchange Programs — fully funded government and university exchange programs worldwide
  • Online Courses — free certificate courses from Harvard, Stanford, Microsoft, Google, IBM, UNICEF, and more.

Every opportunity we publish is sourced directly from the official programme website, verified for accuracy, and written clearly so any student can understand what is available and take action.

Our Team

Ehsas Kafaalat is managed by Neha Sikandar, an education researcher and writer based in Pakistan. Neha Sikandar has years of experience navigating international scholarship applications and understanding the real barriers students face — from confusing eligibility criteria to writing a competitive Statement of Purpose without a mentor or guide.

The blog section is written from direct personal research and real first-hand experience, not from templates or recycled content. The guides on SOP writing, motivation letters, and academic CVs reflect techniques that have genuinely helped students secure competitive awards at programs like Chevening, DAAD, and Erasmus Mundus.

Why ‘Ehsas Kafaalat’?

‘Ehsas’ is an Urdu word meaning empathy, care, and feeling deeply. ‘Kafaalat’ means support, welfare, and guardianship. Together, they reflect our core purpose: to genuinely care about students’ futures and provide the practical support they need to reach them. While our name reflects our Pakistani roots, our content serves students from every country who share the same dream: quality education without financial barriers.
